It seems that Joe Cole is no longer part of Fabio Capello’s plans as he has been left out of the squad for the first two Euro 2012 qualifiers. Scott Carson is perhaps the main surprise as he has been recalled after a 2 year absence. The other payers recalled are Matthew Upson, Michael Carrick, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe

Chelsea players John Terry and Frank Lampard together with Bobby Zamira and Rio Ferdinand are also absent from the squad due to injury.

England needs to put the disappointment of the World Cup behind them and take maximum points from two potentially tricky games. England face Bulgaria on 3rd September then a few days later on 7th September they play Switzerland.

For those who intend to back England then we strongly suggest you place your bets at least 24 hours prior to kick off for increased value. Seek out value by taking at least a few minutes to Google online betting sites as you will find that the odds at betting sites can vary immensely.
