Yes it is that time again as the NFL season kicks off in just a few days! Are we going to witness the New Orleans Saint retain their championship plus are we going to see for the very first time the Dallas Cowboys become the first team in history to reach a Super Bowl final at their own stadium.

Many feel this season could be the season for the San Diego Charges. For the last four years they have won the AFC West title although the championship still eludes them. Could 2011 be their year at last? The Denver Broncos have caused a stir by signing college superstar Tim Tebow. The general opinion was that Tebow was simply not ready for the NFL. Will the Broncos be rewarded for such a bold move?

The New York Jets are strong favourite to win the AFC East although there seems to be strong doubts about their ability to re-sign Darrelle Revis. Without Revis there is no doubt that the Jets will struggle.

The Pittsburgh Steelers need to put the disappointment of last season behind them in the AFC North. Rocked by the Ben Roethlisberger drama, who will miss at the very least, the first 6 weeks of the season it could yet again be another bad season for the Steelers.

In the AFC South it looks like it will be a straight fight between the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans although the Colts should grab the playoff spot. Perhaps most eyes will be on the NFC East, as the Cowboys are strong favourites to become the first ever team to play a Super Bowl in their own stadium. They have added rookie Dez Bryant to their squad which many believe will make them even stronger. Could 2011 really be a great year for the Cowboys?

In the NFC South the smart money is on the New Orleans Saints although not for another championship. In the NFC North Brett Favre is back again with the Minnesota Vikings for his 20th season. If Favre can show the same sort of form he showed last season then it could be a great season for the Vikings, although it should be a tough fight with the Green Bay Packers for the NFC North title.

Arizona Cardinals are without Kurt Warner as he retired last season which gives Matt Leinart his chance to establish himself as the Cardinals starting QB. We think the Cardinals will take the NFC West although the San Francisco 49’ers will be there or thereabouts.

There are going to be some great betting opportunities for the upcoming NFL season. We suggest you take the time to visit quality  live betting sites as these are by far the  best sites for NFL betting.
