Liverpool vs West Ham United: Premier League Preview

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has struggled to get the best from his players this season and is now without star player Steven Gerrard after the midfielder pick up an injury during midweek international duty. Spanish striker Fernando Torres is set to start after show glimpses of his best over the last few weeks. Liverpool lost last week against Stoke and Hodgson’s future at the club could come under doubt if he fails to beat a struggling West Ham side.

West Ham have underperformed so far this season an speculation surround Avram Grants future is starting to mouth. With the side currently bottom of the league even a win would not take them out of the bottom three. Positives have come for West Ham over the last three games they are unbeaten in their last three.

Liverpool should be favourites for the game however without Steven Gerrard Liverpool may not produce a high level performance and West Ham could manage an upset.
