Roger Johnson to Reject Liverpool Move To Play In Europe With Birmingham

Roger Johnson put in an impressive performance for Birmingham as they caused an upset an beat Arsenal in the FA Cup on Sunday.

Liverpool are reportedly keen to add to their defence and Roger Johnson is aid to be a target of theirs however he will snub the club so he can play for Birmingham in the Europa League.

Ben Foster has told reports that he has also been impressed with Johnson’s performances.

‘Some of his performances have been absolutely fantastic and he’s a very big player for us,’ said Foster.

‘With the amount of money some teams have, everybody has their price but we need him playing for us, doing the job he does for us.

‘You can see the look on his face every game he plays – he loves it, he loves to be in front of the firing line and getting involved, so that will hopefully keep him at the club longer.’

‘You see the teams he is linked with week in week out, and it’s justified really,’ he added.
