Nottingham Forest Fail In Reo-Coker Loan Bid

Nottingham Forest have failed in a shock move for Aston Villa midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker after the offer was rejected by Aston Villa today.

Billy Davies was keen to sign the midfielder on loan to help his side challenge for promotion.

Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier was keen to keep the midfielder at Villa as he looks to keep his team in the Premier League and avoid relegation.

Forest had Arsenal youngster Arron Ramsey at the club but were unable to re-sign the youngster.

Billy Davies also managed to recruit Liverpool full back Paul Konchesky for the rest of the season but then failed in a loan move for Fulham man Jonathan Greening.
