Bolton Wanderers vs Aston Villa: Premier League Preview

Bolton boss Owen Coyle will be impressed with the way his squad have played this season after winning 4 of their last 6 games and are currently 7th in the League.

Owen Coyle made an excellent signing when he loaned Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea as he has gone on to score 4 goals in as many games.

Bolton are still in contention for Europa League qualification and they will know that they must perform in their last 10 games if they wish to see off the likes of Liverpool and Sunderland and claim 6th place and qualification.

Aston Villa boss Gerard Houllier will be fully aware that if Villa fail to get positive results within their last 10 games they may be facing a shock relegation battle after finding themselves 12th but only 5 points of the drop zone.

Houllier’s men performed well on their last time out seeing off an impressive Blackburn team with a 4-1 win.

Aston Villa may be slight favourites for this clash with Darren Bent liking well with the Villa players and Ashley Young beginning to rediscover his top form and scoring twice in last week’s action Villa may just edge out Bolton for the win.
