Newcastle United vs Everton: Premier League Preview

Newcastle United stared the season very strongly but after the sail of their top striker Andy Carroll to Liverpool the side have failed to put in top performance up until there last outing against Birmingham City in a 2-0 win.

With just one win in their last 5 and not bringing in a replacement for Andy Carroll Newcastle could get dragged in to the drop zone if they fail to win games and today’s clash with Everton is a must win if they want to stay in the Premier League.

Everton have underachieved this season and have only won two of their last six they are among 8 teams that could be drawn into the relegation battle if they fail to get results in the next few games.

David Moyes has this week ruled out any sales of key players as he looks to add to his squad in the summer and challenge for Europa League qualification next season.

This game will be close with both teams will be able to put in good performances. Newcastle will be slight favourites because they are the home side but this could go either way.
