While many online poker rooms have shown a decline in traffic over the last six weeks since the Black Friday catastrophe, mainly PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, UB.com, and Absolute Poker, Lock Poker is actually growing. Not only has Lock Poker seen a growth in their online poker traffic lately, picking up all the US players who were booted out of the aforementioned sites, but they’ve also picked up three pros to represent the Lock ProElite team. This is important to Lock Poker due to the upcoming World Series of Poker where there will be little to none paid advertising for the now anti-US poker sites.

Lock Poker, on the Merge Network, is bracing itself for the quick growth that hopefully is in store for them. In preparing, they’ve signed pro deals with Michael “bigguylegend22” Drummond, Brian “PrimodialAA” Pellegrino, and Casey “Bigdogpckt5s” Jarzabek.

New Hampshire’s Drummond, winner of the Bluff Poker Challenge, is a young ’en at 24. He’s actually won about $90K on Lock Poker in April alone. He said of his new partnership with Lock Poker, “I actually just got on Lock Poker earlier this month and it’s been awesome. I’ve been getting a ton of action and running well, which is always a deadly combination. The software is great, customer support is fast, and I look forward to continuing to play on this site.”

Pellegrino is a mid to high stakes player who landed 8th place in the 2009 WSOP Heads Up Championship, so he’s been around for a while. He took a $100K paycheck for the event and has furthermore won more than $180K in additional live tournaments. Online, he’s profited about $88K.

And lastly, Jarzabek is an online poker sensation with online tournament career earnings totaling more than $4.2 million. He’s all the buzz in the online poker community, and has been ranked number one numerous times. “I can’t quite tell you just how thrilled I am to be joining the Lock team,” Jarzabek said. “I am truly pumped to be working with such dedicated and motivated people. It is an exciting time for Lock Poker right now, as its exploding on the poker scene. And I get a front row seat. I couldn’t have asked for or been given a better opportunity.”
