Is Donovan McNabb Headed to the Tennessee Titans?

The Washington Redskins are an absolute mess right now as they made some questionable moves over the last two seasons and as a result haven’t improved their struggling NFL franchise. The addition of two-time Super Bowl champion head coach Mike Shanahan and six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb was thought to be a step in the right direction, but it has taken a turn for the worst as the two haven’t been able to see eye-to-eye during their time in the nation’s capital.

With that being said, the Redskins have been seriously considering a future without McNabb under center. At this point in time, Shanahan no longer wants to deal with McNabb and would love it if the team simply released him. This is an interesting stance by the big-name head coach, but it will most likely happen as the team would rather keep Shanahan over McNabb.

Now that Washington Redskins are probably on the verge of releasing the six-time Pro Bowler, Donovan McNabb will be unemployed and actively looking for another job in the NFL. Even though McNabb is past his prime, the veteran quarterback still has a lot of value around league and probably will get another job quickly after being released.

The one of the most likely destinations for Donovan McNabb could be with the Tennessee Titans. With the Titans seeing veteran QB Kerry Collins retire and on the verge of releasing Vince Young, they are left with rookie quarterback Jake Locker under center and would love to bring in a quarterback like Donovan McNabb to mentor their rookie next season.
