Troubled Quarterback Vince Young Might be Headed to the Arizona Cardinals

The Vince Young experiment in Tennessee is almost certainly over. Even though Young was considered to be the future face of the Titans franchise, the troubled quarterback has seemingly burned his bridge in Tennessee after last season’s outburst and is on the verge of being released.

Along with the Tennessee Titans firing long-time head coach Jeff Fisher, the struggling NFL franchise is also ready to release their starting quarterback and start over with rookie quarterback Jake Locker out of Washington. With Locker being a promising young gunslinger, the Titans aren’t worried about the future under center, but Young might be worried about the future as he will most likely be unemployed before next season.

With that being said, the one-time BCS champion will be weighing his options around the league and could have an opportunity with the Arizona Cardinals. Ever since Kurt Warner retired in Arizona, the Cardinals have headed into a downward spiral and have been completely lost at the quarterback position.

Vince Young is no Kurt Warner and might turn out to be an absolute failure in Arizona, but the Cardinals seem willing to take a chance on the troubled quarterback as he will be a big upgrade from Derek Anderson and Max Hall.

It is uncertain how serious the Arizona Cardinals are about making an offer to Vince Young moving forward or whether or not the Tennessee Titans will release him after Kerry Collins retired recently, but the former Texas Longhorn will probably be a solid option for either team.
