Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins Talking Kyle Orton Trade

The Denver Broncos were an absolute disaster last season as they just couldn’t get anything done defensively and almost had just as much trouble offensively. One of the bright spots for the Broncos over the last two years has been quarterback Kyle Orton as he has played much better than anticipated and looked like the one player that could turn everything around in the Mile High City.

Even though Kyle Orton has been somewhat of a surprise since being traded from the Chicago Bears, the Denver Broncos have gone in another direction with two-time BCS champion and former Heisman trophy winner Tim Tebow. Now that Tebow is the starting quarterback for the Broncos, Denver is exploring trades for Orton and the one team most interested as of right now is the Miami Dolphins.

Ever since NFL legend Dan Marino called it quits back in 1999, the Miami Dolphins have really struggled to find a replacement that could fill the shoes of the Hall of Famer. No quarterback that has come in since then has been able to do that and it has been a nightmare for this franchise to find the right man under center.

Fortunately, they may have found a Pro Bowl caliber quarterback that might be able to get the job done in Kyle Orton. The Arizona Cardinals was another team the Denver Broncos were willing to deal Kyle Orton to, but now that the Philadelphia Eagles are almost certainly sending Kevin Kolb there the next option is the Miami Dolphins.
