The 5 Best NFL Free Agents: Tight Ends

#1 Zach Miller, Oakland Raiders

Ironically enough, the Oakland Raiders have some of the most sought after players in the upcoming free agent market. Not only do they have the best defense player available in Nnamdi Asomugha, but they also have the best tight end available in Zach Miller.

Miller is a must-sign situation for the Raiders as he is by far their best receiver, but if they don’t back the rest of the league will be waiting eagerly.

#2 Owen Daniels, Houston Texans

Despite being plagued with injuries over the past couple of seasons, the Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels is one of the best players at his position. When healthy, Daniels can put up some monster numbers and compete with some of the top tight ends in the league.

There is no telling whether or not the Texans intend to keep him, but they would be foolish not to because a lot of teams will have their eye on him.

#3 Bo Scaife, Tennessee Titans

Even though Bo Scaife can be one of the more streaky tight ends in the league he is still one of the best at his position. With the right quarterback under center, Scaife could be as dangerous as any tight end in the game.

#4 Kevin Boss, New York Giants

As one of Eli Manning’s favorite targets in the endzone, Kevin Boss has proven himself to be a worthy receiving in a pass-heavy offense. There could be a lot of teams in the league interested in his services if he doesn’t return to the New York Giants.

#5 Marcedes Lewis, Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have never really been a team that has had a great passing game and as a result they rarely make it into the playoffs, but Marcedes Lewis still puts up the numbers which means he could get a look from a pass oriented offense.
