Seattle Seahawks @ Denver Broncos Sat. Aug. 27, 2011 9 p.m. EST

Last season the Seattle Seahawks were able to do what no other team in the NFL has ever been able to do by clinching a playoff spot and winning a division title with a losing record. This isn’t anything to brag about, but when they did get into the playoffs they were able to beat the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints in the first round.

Despite the 7-9 regular season record, the Seattle Seahawks exceed expectations in the first go around for new head coach Pete Carroll and the future has started to look bright for this struggling NFL franchise. Even though things are on the up and up in Seattle, the Seahawks lost longtime quarterback Matt Hasselback in free agency and now will have a lot of question marks surrounding new starter Tarvaris Jackson.

On Saturday night, the Seattle Seahawks will look to get their new faces in the mix once again with quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, wide receiver Sidney Rice and tight end Zach Miller all getting some time on the gridiron against the Denver Broncos in the Mile High City.

The Denver Broncos are also having troubles with the quarterback position, but not at the number one spot as they have already named Kyle Orton the Week 1 starter. There problems are further down the depth chart with second-year quarterback Tim Tebow. With all the negative press towards Tebow lately, the former Heisman trophy winner has two more preseason games prove his doubters wrong.
