Hannon Keen on Zebedee

News from the Hannon yard suggest that Richard Hannon is really looking forward to a great run from Zebedee in the Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodward. Although beaten in the Norfold Stakes at Royal Ascot he has won 3 of his 4 starts, bouncing back to winning ways at Sandown last week. Hannon believes Zebedee is now ready to step up to Pattern company.

“That Sandown win has done Zebedee’s confidence the world of good and he has come back bouncing,” said Hannon.

“The Molecomb looks the obvious race and the track will suit him but the fact that he won over Sandown’s stiff five suggests that he’ll stay a bit further, so we would have to consider a tilt at the Prix Robert Papin over the extra half-furlong at Maisons-Laffitte.

“There is also the Roses Stakes at Doncaster, and he has so much toe that he’ll be hard to beat in the speed races,” he told his website.
