Dallas Cowboys @ New England Patriots Sun. Oct. 16, 2011 4:15 p.m. EST
The Dallas Cowboys are without a doubt one of the most talented teams in the NFL with an offense that could potentially be just as explosive as the New England Patriots, but with quarterback Tony Romo continuing to struggling under center and injuries taking a toll, the Cowboys haven’t been able to live up to their potential.
Despite coming into Week 6’s matchup with the New England Patriots sporting a 2-2 record, the Dallas Cowboys have an opportunity to turn a lot of heads by getting the best of arguably one of the best team in the NFL this season. If the Cowboys can somehow beat the Patriots that their own, Dallas will be back in the contender conversation, but if not they may be in for another long season of disappointment and negative press surrounding their franchise quarterback.
With all the talent of the offensive side of the football for this team, the Dallas Cowboys definitely have the potential to be a Super Bowl title contender, but they will need to step up this week in order to save the season from disaster.
As of right now, the New England Patriots are favored to come out on top with a -7 point spread. With Miles Austin coming back I believe the Cowboys will have a decent shot of pulling off the upset, but the Patriots are the safe bet here.
My Pick: Take the Patriots at -7
