NFL Week 7: Rams vs Cowboys
St. Louis Rams @ Dallas Cowboys Sun. Oct. 23, 2011 4:15 p.m. EST
The Dallas Cowboys have been criticized every single week this season as many people believe that they just haven’t been able to play up to their potential. With a potent offense and a defense that should be able to hold leads, the Cowboys should be one of the best teams in the league without question, but that isn’t the case as they will head into Week 7 with a disappointing 2-3 record.
Fortunately, the Dallas Cowboys will have a great opportunity to bounce back this week as they are set to face off against the winless St. Louis Rams. Not only will the Rams have no answer for the Cowboys offense, but this game will be played in Dallas and could be the game in which Tony Romo and company turn things around.
The St. Louis Rams are a team on the rise in the NFL in my opinion as they will just need a few years to build around up-and-coming quarterback Sam Bradford, but this season won’t end well with this team being ravaged by injuries that has kept the Rams from reaching their true potential. If St. Louis was 100% healthy, they would definitely give the Cowboys a run for their money, but this weekend will almost certainly be a blowout in favor of Dallas.
Predictions for Cowboys vs Rams
As of right now, the Dallas Cowboys have been given the edge with a -12 point spread. The spread is high, but I believe the Cowboys should cover. Take the Cowboys at -12.
