Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans Sun. Oct. 30, 2011 1 p.m. EST

A few years ago, the divisional matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans would be must-see showdown between two the league’s best teams. This season a lot of things have changed with the Colts and the Titans as the both teams look completely different in comparison to last season.

The biggest change has to be with the Indianapolis Colts since four-time NFL MVP quarterback Peyton Manning has been out the entire season due to a long recovery from neck surgery. The Titans have gone through a similar change though as they now have veteran quarterback Matt Hasselback under center instead of Kerry Collins or Vince Young.

The results have tilted in the Titans favor this season as Hasselback has seemingly turned back the clock and the Colts have been absolutely lost without Manning as their main man under center. With that being said, the Titans have been favored coming into this AFC South division showdown with a -9 point spread.

This spread is fairly high considering that the Tennessee Titans have been a bit streaky on offense this season as recently re-signed star running back Chris Johnson isn’t exactly paying off and the Titans have lost wide receiver Kenny Britt for the season. Even though the Titans have lost Britt and Johnson hasn’t panned out this year, Tennessee should get the win in Week 8 and cover the spread.

Our predictions: Take the Titans at -9.
