Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints Sun. Nov. 6, 2011 1 p.m. EST

One of the most anticipated games of Week 9 will be a divisional battle between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints. A few weeks ago, the Bucs and Saints went head-to-head and the outcome was surprising to say the least with Drew Brees and company struggling and losing to their division rivals.

In Week 9, the New Orleans Saints will look to avenge that loss to the Bucs along with the loss last week to the lowly St. Louis Rams. The loss to the Bucs a few weeks ago was a bit of a wakeup call for the Saints, but last week’s loss to the Rams turned a lot of heads around the league as the potent offense of New Orleans was devastated by a surprisingly solid effort by the St. Louis defense.

With both losses still fresh in the mind of head coach Sean Payton, the New Orleans Saints will almost certainly come out with a new attitude and intensity in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The one advantage that the Saints will have in Week 9 is that they will be playing on their home field at the Super Dome, but I am not sure that will be enough to help they win this crucial division game and cover the large spread.

As of right now, the New Orleans Saints are favored to get the win in Week 9 with a -9 point spread. That is way too high in my opinion for a team that has struggled as of late, so taking the Bucs to make it close is the best bet here.

Take the Bucs at +9.
