New England Patriots @ New York Jets Sun. Nov. 13, 2011 8:20 p.m. EST
The AFC East division is as competitive as ever this season with three teams that could win the division title at season’s end. The New England Patriots are usually the team to beat in this division, but that doesn’t appear to be the case this time around as the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets have become forces to be reckoned with.
The New York Jets emerging a legitimate playoff team is no surprise as they have made it all the way to the AFC Championship game two years in a row, but the Buffalo Bills coming to life has surprised a lot of people around the league. Even though the Bills appear to have a shot at winning the division title, the loss to the Jets last week has dropped Ryan Fitzpatrick and company to third place in the AFC East with the Patriots in first and New York in second.
In Week 10, the New York Jets will be defending their home field at New Meadowlands Stadium against the arch division rival New England Patriots in a game that could very well determine the winner of the AFC East division title.
The Patriots will come into this matchup with two straight losses while the Jets will come in with three straight wins. With that being said, the Jets have turned around their season and in my opinion should get the win over the Patriots.
As of right now, the New York Jets are favored with a -2 point spread.
My Pick: Take the Jets at -2
