Miami Dolphins @ Dallas Cowboys Thurs. Nov. 24, 2011 4:15 p.m. EST
America’s Team has finally come to life this season with three straight wins and most importantly a dominant running game to go with a potent passing attack. Not only do the Dallas Cowboys have one of the best quarterbacks in the game with Tony Romo under center, but now they have one of the most promising young running backs in the league coming out of the backfield in the form of DeMarco Murray.
With five impressive performances in a row by the up-and-coming running back, DeMarco Murray has been promoted to the starting running back position while Felix Jones takes a demotion to the second on the depth chart. The emergence of Murray hasn’t only helped turn this team around, but now the Cowboys look like they could be a legitimate force to be reckoned with in the NFC Conference.
After the win over the division rival Washington Redskins in Week 11, the Dallas Cowboys have taken the top spot in the NFC East division and seem to be the frontrunners to become division champions at season’s end.
In Week 12, the Dallas Cowboys will be playing at home in the annual Thanksgiving Day game against the Miami Dolphins. Despite being labeled one of the worst teams in the NFL about a month ago, the Dolphins have gotten back to form as of late with three straight wins of their own. The playoffs are out of the question right now for Miami, but they might be able to make a statement with a win over the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.
As of right now, the Dallas Cowboys are the favorites to come out on top with a -7 point spread. This spread is pretty solid in my opinion as the Cowboys should blowout the Dolphins on Thursday.
My Pick: Take the Cowboys at -7
