Cleveland Browns @ Cincinnati Bengals Sun. Nov. 27, 2011 1 p.m. EST
With expectations being pretty low heading into this NFL regular season, the Cincinnati Bengals have become one of the biggest surprise teams in the NFL this year with an impressive 6-4 and a shot at contending for the AFC North division title. Not only has rookie quarterback Andy Dalton made everyone in Cincinnati forget about veteran gunslinger Carson Palmer (Oakland Raiders), but rookie wide receiver A.J. Green has also made Bengals fans forget the names Chad Ochocinco (New England Patriots) and Terrell Owens (free agent).
Now that the Bengals are a force to be reckoned with once again, the future finally looks bright once again in Cincinnati with a promising young squad on both sides of the football. Despite a much better season than anticipated, the Bengals have hit their first real bump in the road this year with two straight losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.
With both losses in the last two weeks coming against teams in the AFC North, the Bengals’ hopes of winning the division title have taken a hit, but they do have a great chance of bouncing back in Week 12 as they are set to face off against the lowly Cleveland Browns. Even though the Browns are coming off a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars (14-10), Cleveland will be outmatched this week against Cincinnati.
As of right now, the Cincinnati Bengals are favored to come out on top against the Cleveland Browns with a -8 point spread.
My Pick: Take the Bengals at -8
