Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers Sun. Dec. 4, 2011 1 p.m. EST
The Baltimore Ravens might be the cream of the crop in the highly competitive AFC North division this season as they have beaten both the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals this year and are on the verge of locking up the division title, the Steelers and the Bengals still have a shot to clinch a playoff spot with both teams in the running for the two AFC Wild Card spots.
Even though it is unlikely that both teams clinch the AFC Wild Card spots and reach the playoffs, the consensus is that both teams are playing well enough coming into Week 13 that they could end up being playoff bound at season’s end. The Steelers are the team with more momentum going their way as they have the experience and talent on both sides of the football to get the job done, but the Bengals have a chance to play spoiler in Week 13 as they will head to Heinz Field and try to pull off the upset over their division rivals.
With rookie quarterback Andy Dalton getting this offense in Cincinnati firing on all cylinders with the help of up-and-coming rookie wide receiver J.J. Green, the Bengals will force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future. Whether or not they can get the best of the Steelers in Week 13 remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that they have a chance of coming out of top.
As of right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers are favored to win this AFC North battle with a -7 point spread. Big Ben and company could get the win, but I’m going with the Bengals to pull off the upset.
My Pick: Take the Bengals at +7
