Chicago Bears @ Denver Broncos Sun. Dec. 11, 2011 4:05 p.m. EST
The Tim Tebow era in the Mile High City has gotten off to a red-hot start for the Denver Broncos as the second-year quarterback phenom has led the team to six wins in his first seven starts this season. With Tebow obviously being the answer under center for the Broncos this year, Denver has become a threat to win the AFC West division and make it back into the playoffs for the first time in a long time.
In Week 14, Tim Tebow and company might be facing their toughest test yet at home as they will go up against Brian Urlacher and the lockdown defense of the Chicago Bears. Even though the Bears defense is about as tough as they come, the Broncos defense has come on strong this season and is getting a lot of talk about being arguably the best defense in the NFL this season.
With that being said, I anticipate this matchup being a battle of great defenses. Now that the Bears offense has become stagnant with backup quarterback Caleb Haine struggling and Pro Bowl running back Matt Forte out with a knee injury.
As of right now, the Denver Broncos are favored to come out on top in this battle of elite defenses with a -4 point spread. Even though Tebow seems to win every football game with a last minute scoring drive and close finishes, this week will be different as the Bears will have no answer for rookie Von Miller and company.
My Pick: Take the Broncos at -4
