Buffalo Bills @ San Diego Chargers Sun. Dec. 11, 2011 4:15 p.m. EST
As arguably one of the most disappointing teams of the season, the San Diego Chargers have gone from being a perennial Super Bowl title contender to a team on the verge of a drastically rebuilding process. With quarterback Philip Rivers continuing to struggle and head coach Norv Turner’s job in serious jeopardy, the Chargers are on their way to a losing season for the first time in a long time.
Despite bad loss after bad loss over the past few months, the Chargers were able to get back on track somewhat last week with a big win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Even though this win to turn things around has come much later than anticipated, the struggling San Diego franchise may have gotten what they need to get back to their winning ways heading into Week 14.
This week the San Diego Chargers will host the Buffalo Bills in what could be a shootout between two potent offenses. Even though both teams have fallen off as of late and are no longer considered to be playoff contenders in the AFC Conference, the consensus is that neither team is content with the way they have played and will be coming into this game expecting to win.
As of right now, the San Diego Chargers have been given the edge to come on top in this matchup with a -7 point spread. This game could potentially come down to the wire, but I believe taking the Chargers is the smart move.
My Pick: Take the Chargers at -7
