in Football, Latest News

It’s time for the first leg of the quarter final in the Greek Cup where we will see PAOK Salonika host AEK Athens. As always when it comes to cup games the home games are very crucial. The most important thing for PAOK here will be to not concede any goals at home.

AEK got to the quarter final by beating Kalamata in the last round while PAOK got through without even have to play their game sue to a riot during the game where the referee got injured.

PAOK have been very strong at home this season losing only one out of their 9 home games this season in the Greek Super League with a goal difference of 16-6. AEK are ahead of PAOK in the table but they have been mediocre at best when it comes  to playing away games with 4 wins and 4 losses so far and a goal difference of 12-13.

The Odds

PAOK Salonika -2.10

Draw – 3.00

AEK Athens – 4.00

All odds are taken from Bet365.com where you will also be able to watch a live stream of the game.

My Predictions

I have a feeling the home field advantage will be too great for AEK to overcome and they will do their best to keep PAOK from scoring to get in a good spot for the second leg.

I feel pretty certain this will be a low scoring affair where PAOK comes out with the win in the end.

Final Score: PAOK 1 – AEK 0
