All football lovers are going to be in for a real treat today as Athletic Bilbao will be hosting Manchester United in the second leg of the final 16 round of the UEFA Europa League.

Bilbao are coming in to this game with a surprising 3-2 lead as they managed to beat Manchester United in the away game against all odds and probabilities. We can be sure that Manchester United will give their all in this game to try to clinch a quarter final spot in the Europa League. This might be Man U’s only chance of lifting a trophy this season.

Manchester United are at the top of the table in the English Premier League (just one point ahead of rivals Manchester City) and they have a pretty decent track record playing away from home as they have lost only once on the road this season.

Athletic Bilbao can be found in 7th place of the highly competitive La Liga with 6 wins, 5 draws and 2 losses at home this season.

My Betting Predictions

I’m really surprised at how high the odds are for a Manchester United win tonight as anything else than a win will send them out of the Europa League this year. The online sportsbook Bet365 are currently offering the price of 2.45 for a Man Utd win and I can’t pass on that odds no matter how poorly they have been playing in the international championships this year.I will be betting Manchester United to win this game in regular time.

I have a feeling this will be a high scoring game just like the first meeting so I will also give over 3.5 goals scored a go to the odds of 2.60 at Bet365.
