Genki Stewards’ Cup Favourite

Genki will look to continue the winning habit by winning the Stewards’ Cup later this month Genki was soundly beat by Laddies Poker Two in the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot last month but ran well despite a poor draw. As expected Genki was soon back to form winning well at Merseyside.

Genki’s hopes in the Steward’s Cup have been boosted by news that Laddies Poker Two will not run in the race. Bookies were quick to act on this news installing Genki as the new race favourite.

Genki’s handler said: “He’s had a pick of grass and I’m very happy with him. The Stewards’ Cup is the next step and I was delighted to see him win as he was unlucky with the draw at Ascot.”
