Andy Murray will play Jamaican, Dustin Brown who made history just a few days ago when he beat Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo in the first round to become the first Jamaican man to record a victory at a Grand Slam event since 1974.The game is due to start at 20.00 BST although it is possible that the game could be postponed until tomorrow due to the predicted arrival of Hurricane Earl.

Murray has never play Brown before, although many expect Murray to record another easy victory to ease in to the next round staying on course to meet Nadal during the tournament. Murray though is simply taking the tournament round by round.

“I need to play my best, and am not really thinking that much about Roger and Rafa right now because I’m only in the second round,” said the young Scot…

“That’s disrespectful to all the other guys that you might have to play on the road to get there to think about playing against them.

“For me, I love playing against those guys, but you’ve seen someone like Berdych, who has been great in the Grand Slams this year, lost in straight sets; Soderling nearly went out the other day; Djokovic nearly went out. It’s so pointless thinking ahead. I say it every Grand Slam.”

Murray is in great form recording impressive victories against both Nadal and Federer in his last tournament. Perhaps at last we could see a Brit win a Grand Slam! Murray is only 3rd favourite with many online betting sites. We strongly suggest you take a look at online sites that review the best betting sites and take the best available odds on Murray. Murray has proved he can beat both Nadal and Federer plus he is in the form of his life. Back Murray To Win!

Today the USTA announced that Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and defending US Open Champion Juan Martin Del Potro will compete in next month’s US Open Tennis Championships at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. The men’s and women’s prize money has again been increased to $1.7 million with a further $1 million possible in bonus prize money.

Rafael Nadal, the world’s number one will be hoping to win the US title for the very first time.
Nadal has already won the French Open and Wimbledon singles titles so in on course to become just the seventh man in history to win the career Grand Slam.

Tickets for the 2010 US Open can now be purchased in four different ways.

•	Online From USOpen.org;
•	By calling Ticketmaster at 1-866-OPEN-TIX
•	At All l Ticketmaster outlets;
•	Direct at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center box office.

For sports betting punters we can give you some great early market advice plus our early bird tip for the event. Most online sports books surprisingly have Federer as the favourite with Nadal a close second favourite. We feel Nadal is in the form of his life whilst Federer is in decline. Andy Murray may go close again but simply is a class below both Federer and Nadal.

2010 US Open Tennis Betting

Roger Federer 3.50
Rafael Nadal 3.75
Andrew Murray 4.50
Novak Djokovic 10.00
Tomas Berdych 11.00
Robin Soderling 12.00

Rafael Nadal priced at 3.75 is simply superb value in our opinion even though he has yet to win the US Open title. He has proved this year by winning the French and Wimbledon events that he is back to his very best. Nadal to win!

Rafael Nadal proved why he is the world’s number one by destroying Tomas Berdych in straight sets to regain the Wimbledon Championship. This was Nadal’s eight Grand Slam title although he is only 24 years old.

Nadal was simply a class (if not more) better than Berdych easily winning 6-3 7-5 6-4 in just over 2 hours. The game was simply a one sided contest with Berdych unable to force any sustained pressure on Nadal. It was clear that Nadal was delighted to regain the title.

“It’s more than a dream for me,” Nadal told BBC Sport. “After a difficult year for me, missing the tournament last year, this year I came back and to have this trophy in my hands is more than a dream.”

Perhaps Nadal’s win signals the end of the reign of Roger Federer. Federer looked a shadow of his former self at Wimbledon losing to Berdych in the quarter final who Nadal simply destroyed.
